Well, Hello!
It's been a long time, or so it seems, since I've written an update. So much has happened at once! It feels like I got home, got off the airplane and my life exploded. But let's start with my exciting trip home.
So I went to the airport with Christa and Jeff - who graciously drove me all the way to Abbotsford. We stopped in and visited Kristy for awhile. It was so great to see her again. Kristy I missed you!!!
So then by the time we got to the Abbotsford airport there was a wicked windstorm - I could barely get the door to Jeff's car open! So they delayed my flight for 2 hours while they had to "de-ice" the plane. We grabbed a bite to eat and finally, after waiting for 2 and a half hours, I boarded the plane at 7:30pm. I got to Calgary at 9pm Calgary time, to be greeted by my dad and Chad who had been waiting there since 5:30 - oops! I tried calling, I really did, but I couldn't get ahold of anyone. Oh well...They had fun in the Spaceport building missions to Mars on a simulator thing.. Chad's blew up and all the crew were all killed or something. I laughed so hard.
So since then, my job hours have been cut down to 3 days a week, which means it's time for Cha to find a new job, um I am getting all my stuff together to apply at school at the end of the month, the church approached me to be elected as a member of the board of elders (thanks, now I do feel old!) but I declined because I just have too much on my plate right now, and so on.
Youth has been good...For any of my Jesus Schoolers...Last night I transformed the big room in my basement into an Itlalian Cafe, complete with red checker table cloths and white Christmas lights, candles, bruschetta and we had an official...MAFIA NIGHT! It got pretty intense, but a good time was had by all.
So all in all life has been pretty good. I went to Ikea the other day and got curly bamboo and a few other things. YAY! My craving has been satisfied. Mmmm....I love Ikea!
