Randomness is awesome. It's cool.

It makes me and my adventuresome friend, Kevin, do random things like jumping, fully clothed, in a lake and going for a swim (which preceded the loosing of his glasses and my sandals - sometimes randomness has it's price).

Randomness also inspires us to drive to Banff sporadically, to try on five thousand dollar fur coats and hats and scarves (the stores are open until eleven p.m. - who knew?!) and then drive up to the hot springs by the light of the full moon, basking in all the majesty and glory of the Rocky mountains ion a clear summer night.

Randomness also makes me download stupid music and then it irritates me because it can be mood-destroying. Probably karma for downloading music in the first place. Rotten dirty thieves!

Randomness makes my buy a $25 cookbook that saved my life - literally. Not only a beginner's guide to gourmet cooking of all genres, but a laugh out loud commentary on the lives of urban, twenty-something females.

Ramdnomness makes me call jeF Schroeder out of the blue and have a very refreshing conversation. It makes my and my brother go out for wings. Or me and AJ and Brea go down to Melrose and have a laugh-your-guts-out-till-you-cry girls night.

I love randomness.

Randomness is also the way God shows up unexpectedly and showers me in grace. Mercy. Forgiveness. Love. Encouraging my spirit and healing my soul. Wow.

Randomness is a truly kick-ass thing.
